活動簡介 : Brief Description of Trainers:Ms. Elda Chan (Supervisor, ICAPT)
BA, MA, Grad Dip in Family Therapy, PhD Candidate
Elda has over 17 years experiences working with pathological gambling and addictions. She is now the supervisor of the Integrated Centre on Addiction Prevention and Treatment (ICAPT). She is a Certified Problem Gambling Counsellor and Trainer, and has presented papers and workshops at different international conferences. She is also one of the authors of the “Chinese G-Map” that provides a map for assessing relevant treatment issues to assist in planning of individualized intervention for people with gambling problems.
Ms. Daphne Yeung (Supervisor, Even Centre) B.S.Sc, MSW, RSW
Daphne is currently the supervisor of Even Centre. She has 15 years of experiences in clinical counselling including pathological gambling counselling. She is a Certified Problem Gambling Counsellor & Trainer and is also one of the research team members of the "Chinese G-Map"

Training Objectives:(1) To introduce the application of the Chinese G-Map including administration, scoring and interpretation
(2) To increase participants' skills in administrating the Chinese G-Map, and application of this measure in treatment of pathological gambling

Pre-requisite Requirement for Attending the Course:Applicant has obtained related gambling counselling training (e.g. AGC/CGC) or is currently providing pathological gambling treatment
